Enter Participant Waiver I know that walking is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not join and walk unless I am medically able and/or cleared by a physician to do so. I agree to abide by any decisions of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event including but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive The Ty Lewis Unite For Life Challenge,organizers, Baldwin Park, The City of Orlando, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this walk-a-thon though the liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Hosts against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees, if litigation arises on account of claims made by me or anyone on my behalf. I attest that I am physically fit and have trained sufficiently for the Event, and that a licensed medical doctor has recently verified my physical condition. I will not knowingly push beyond my physical limits at any time during the Event. I further grant permission to The Ty Lewis Unite For Life Challenge to use my e-mail address and understand that it will be used to provide monthly updates about races and events. I also give my permission to make my e-mail address available to some valuable sponsors on occasion. Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic record of this event for legitimate purposes.
